Cast Partial Dentures

Fabrication of the lower cast partial denture using gel duplication

Spruing

Due to the dimensions of the strong lingual bar, it is recommended to use ø 4 mm wax sprues.

Casting defects such as shrinkage porosities can be avoided by connecting the sprue directly onto the waxed bar.

A thinner, additional sprue (ø 2,5 mm) feeds the molar clasp.

When casting in a less efficient casting machine the ring clasp should be connected to the small connector. It is no problem to separate again later.
