Undercuts close to the saddle are blocked-out using the thermo arm of the Paratherm surveyor.

If the undercuts are blocked-out using the 2° conical rods, the patient will find it easier to insert the denture later on.

After the path of insertion has been determined, the undercuts blocked-out and the insertion groove is in place, the model can be removed from the model table.
